This match was played at Chanonry Grounds. Aberdeen showed superior power throughout the game, and in the first period W. S. Brown and W. Key each scored for the ground team, while the strangers failed to find an opening. The Stonehaven custodian, Vallentine, exhibited splendid powers, and saved his side several goals; but although they had many clever rushes they never managed to score. W. S. Brown, Ritchie, and D. C. Brown each forced the Stonehaven citadel in the second half and the result was: Aberdeen 5, Stonehaven 0.
