Orion tried a new arrangement in front?which apparently did not come off. Gloag went from extreme to centre, Innes filling the vacancy on the right. Even against such a team as the Strathmore they failed to bring off a win, their play being miserable. No blame can be attached to Lumsden who excelled himself in goal, and who prevented a much bigger defeat being accomplished. Adams filled the vacancy caused by the departure of Gordon, while Millar stood in place of Edwards.
