These teams met at Central Park, Kittybrewster, in presence of a good gate. In the first period the visitors played uphill with the wind in their favour, and soon scored their first and only goal. The Orion shortly after opened their scoring, and before half-time notched 3 goals. In the latter period play was of a more even nature. Orion added another point, while the Boys failed to augment the score, the game ending: Orion 4, Our Boys 1.
Lumsden kept a good goal for the Orion, while the backs played a good defensive game. Of the forwards, Gloag, Leggat, and Eraser were the pick. For the Boys, the backs played a good game, while the halves were a fair trio. Of the forwards, the right wing was the beat.
