This holiday fixture was played yesterday afternoon at Central Park, under deplorable weather and ground conditions. The alternate frost and fresh of the preceding few days had made the ground in many parts unplayable. Rain fell heavily during the greater part of the game. In the first half the strangers had the game all their own way, and at half-time the game stood in the same position as at full time. The result was East Stirlingshire 6, Orion 3. The play of the home team in the second half was all that could be desired.
