DONS AT DINGWALL. |
 |
Aberdeen's visit to Dingwall brought out a crowd of over 3000, and they were not disappointed by the display. Aberdeen won three goals to two.
Aberdeen, especially in the first half, served up some sparkling football, and at the interval le by one goal to nil.
In the second half Aberdeen did not show up so well, and Ross County, playing up, by clever forward play, got the equaliser through Cowie. Then came goal for Yorston, followed by third from McLean.
A well-deserved goal was taken for the homesters by Aird.
It was a thrilling encounter, in which the home team showed up well, the best players being Lobban (in goal), Munro, McKenzie, Trail, Cowie, and Davidson.
