At Ellon. The ground was not in good condition, about two inches of snow lying all over, and rain fell most of the time, accompanied by a south-east wind, which blew in the face of the home team. After 35 minutes' play, during which time Orion scored 6 goals, the ball burst, and as there was not another to be found in Ellon, the game was brought to an abrupt conclusion with the score - Orion 6, Ellon nil. Orion played a splendid game, but at times the home team proved themselves a tough lot.
