Played at Wellington Ground on Saturday after¬noon. The teams were:- Victoria United: Edwards; Anderson, Foote; Morrice, Annand, Ewing; Turner, Benzie, Sutherland, Wallace, Ferries. Greenock Morton: McKenna; Brand, Scott; Robertson, Fordie, Grant; Joyce, Oswald, McMaster, Burns, Crawford. The weather was too hot for good football, and play for the most part was poor. The Victoria United scored 2 goals in the first half, while the visitors got one; and in the second half the home team added four to the Morton's two. The game thus ended in a win for the United by 6 goals to 3.
