Orion 8 - 1 Peterhead
Kick Off:
Attendance: 0
Venue: Central Park, Aberdeen
These teams met in the second round of the Aberdeenshire cup ties at Central Park. The weather was miserable, and but few spectators put in an appearance. During the first half of the game the Peterhead played down hill, and succeeded in scoring a point. On the change of sides, the homesters had the game all their own way, and completely played round their opponents. At the call of time, the score stood: Orion 8, Peterhead 1.

At Central Park the Buchan loons, who played downhill and with the wind, made a very good show in the opening stage, though they scored only once, but on the Stripes getting the breeze behind them they at once came down on Cowie, and anchoring in front of him kept him busy till the close, scoring 8 goals. Peterhead played ten men only. The Aberdeen-Brechin match was declared off, owing to the strangers turning up late.
