MacRonald At The Double For Young Dons

If the young Dons faltered in the later stages of the Tannadice game, they showed that they had learned from it when a week later they beat Celtic 3-0 at Pittodrie. This time they played well for the entire 90 minutes, never losing their control of the game.
The win was somewhat overshadowed by the early loss of Andy Gibson, whose two goals at Tannadice brought his tally to 13 goals in 11 Premier Reserve League outings. Against Celtic, Andy was taken off after only 20 minutes with a broken bone in his foot.
In his absence, however, the scoring responsibility fell elsewhere and Colin MacRonald took up the challenge to claim two goals, with Jamie McCarron supplying the other.
