Four Men in Match at Paisley.
YOUNG DONS KEEP RECORD.
Aberdeen A scored a fine victory over St Mirren A in an Alliance fixture at Paisley, and thus maintained their record as the only team in the league with full points. St Mirren scored after six minutes' play. Philip broke away, and his cross came to McLeod, who sent the ball past Cumming. Subsequently Aberdeen pressed, and Armstrong was unlucky to hit the crossbar with Hill beaten. He later opened up another attack, however, and this time crossed to Adam, who smartly converted. Play was very fast, and Dickie nearly counted with a hot grounder. Four minutes from the interval Fraser scored a good goal for the visitors. Ten minutes after the resumption Warnock was fouled in the penalty area. Armstrong made no mistake with the spot kick.Extraordinary Scenes.
Extraordinary scenes were witnessed near the close of the game, and no fewer than four players were sent off. Fraser and Wilson fell out, and though several players attempted to go between them, both were sent off. Almost immediately afterwards Armstrong and Baird were sent to the pavilion. Towards the end play was rough, and many players suffered minor injuries. Both teams finished with nine men.Source: Press & Journal, 19th September 1932
