GEORGE McMILLAN, who played on the left wing for the Young Dons against Allca Athletic "A" at Pittodrie on Saturday, was carried off on a stretcher ten minutes from time.
He was injured in a tackle and it was at first believed that he had broken his leg. An examination at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary, however, revealed that there was no fracture.
The match was a one-sided affair, with Alloa on the defensive for practically the entire game, and Aberdeen had no difficulty in winning 7-1.
There were some entertaining, combined moves by the home forwards, who found it easy to weave their way through the opposing defence.
The inside-forward trio - McNeill, I. Rodger and Hay - played well. McNeill produced some clever individual touches and was never slow to try a shot.
Although Hay had also a good day, he missed Tommy Pearson on the left wing.
The home defenders were never stretched in holding the Alloa attack. The visitors' only goal came from the penalty spot through Pow.

As expected, Alloa reserves were no match for the home team at Pittodrie last Saturday. All the Dons reserves gave a good account of themselves, and it was unfortunate that the afternoon's sport should be marred by an accident to young McMillan. Supporters will be pleased to learn that the injury did not
turn out to be as serious as was feared and that McMillan has made a rapid recovery.
