Aberdeen travelled to Lochee on Saturday, and engaged in a Northern League fixture with Lochee United. The teams were:- Lochee United: Murray; Philip, Harris; Reid, C. Gray, Fraser; Flemng, Connell, Sturrock, T. Gray, McLean. Aberdeen: Bisset; O'Brien, J. Mackie; Sangster, Thomson, Robertson; Brash, C. Mackie, Livingstone, Davidson, "Wilson". Referee - Mr. J. Black, Forfar.
Lochee were first to attack, but Aberdeen soon came away. The latter kept up the pressure for some time. Murray, in attempting to save, fisted into his own goal.
In the second half Lochee took up the running in a most determined manner, and scored amidst great excitement. The game was very fast, and both custodians showed some fine play. In the closing minutes of the game, both teams scored again.
