The Aberdeen met the Dundee Wanderers at Pittodrie Park, Aberdeen, on Saturday in one of the Northern League matches. The teams were:- Aberdeen: Bisset; O'Brien, Dakers; Sangster, Thomson, Robertson; Brash, C. Mackie, Livingstone, Davidson, J. Mackie. Wanderers: Don; Neave, Robertson; Petrie, Mathers, McInally; Moir, McInnroy, Black, Graham, McKane. Mr. Beddington, Victoria United, was referee.<.p>
The match opened with smart interchanges between the halves, but after a foul against Aberdeen had been wasted by the visitors, play was for a time rather uneventful. The Dundee team, aided by the wind, kept the home team much in their own end, but Aberdeen made several brilliant rushes into their opponents' territory. Off a free kick, Aberdeen scored their first goal, and a fould off one of the Dundee men gave another opening, which O'Brien and Livingstone proffited by.
Though play in the second half was in favour of Aberdeen, no alteration in the score took place.
