Played at Cowdenbeath on Saturday afternoon. The elevens lined up as follows:- Aberdeen: Bisset; Walker, McHardy; Sangster, Thomson, Murphy; Buchan, Breslin, Woodlock, Taylor, Shiach. Cowdenbeath: Hood; Drummond, Nisbet; Hamilton, Melville (Buckhaven), Ramsay; McAughey, Wilson, Dryburgh, Hornet, Mercer. Referee: Mr. Ross, Renfrew.
Cowdenbeath kicked off, but Aberdeen invaded, and got dangerously near Hood. Hornet was doing yeoman service for his side, and Bisset was often called upon to fist out well directed shots. Before half-time was called, the Fifers opened the scoring.
On resuming, the Aberdeen pressed, and Hood had a busy five minutes. The game was afterwards evenly contested and resulted in a win for Cowdenbeath by 1 goal to 0.
