ALTHOLTGH the Aberdeen reserves clearly demonstrated that they were a more skilful and better balanced team than St Johnstone "A" at Perth, it was not until the closing stages that they gained the mastery.
The best goal ot the match came from Wallace and the most brilliant football was provided by the young Dons left wing partnership of Baird and Hather. Anderson was outstanding in the half line.
