ABERDEEN have picked up another promising youngster in Willie Sinclair, one of their provisional signings from Blairhall Colliery. He is only seventeen years old.
Sinclair had a good game on the right wing for the young Dons against Leith Athletic at Pittodrie on Saturday. He is a clever ball player and combined well with Newlands.
Sim, the Foimartine United ’keeper, did some good things, but did not always inspire confidence.
lAN RODGER and Davie Shaw, both of whom have been off recently with injuries, showed that they had made a complete recovery. Rodger had a good game at centre-forward and scored two goals.
The liveliest of the forwards, however, was lan McNeil, who made many openings for his colleagues and was not slow to make the most of any chances that came his way: He had a hand in four of Aberdeen’s five goals.
