Juniors Play Well At Pittodrie

There was a fair attendance at Pittodrie Park last night, when an Aberdeen F.C. eleven defeated an Aberdeenshire Junior Association Select by the only goal. Play throughout was of an interesting nature, the juniors giving a splendid account of themselves, and being somewhat unlucky tin he manner they conceded the goal, which was to the credit of Moir, and was obtained midway through the second half. In the first half A. Forbes (Richmond) failed at a penalty for the juniors. Play throughout was strenuous, and always interesting. The junior forwards worked well when they got going, but the strength of the side was at halfback, where McLeod (Parkvale), S. Paterson (Argyle) and McLeod (Hawthorn) showed excellent form, and Wallace was and sound and resourceful at back. Aberdeen were well served in defence, in which Lees and McBoyle were prominent, and in the attack, Thomson and Grant were most conspicuous.
