Hat Trick for Donald.
In an Aberdeen and District League match at Pittodrie yesterday evening, Aberdeen "A" got the better of Huntly by seven goals to nil. The visitors put up a plucky fight considering they were not at full strength, especially in the first half, when they held the Pittodrie team to two goals, scored by Donald and McLaren (from a penalty). In the second period Aberdeen's superior training had its effect, and five more goals were rattled on. Donald netted twice to complete his hat trick, and Polland, David, and Falloon each scored once.Source: Press & Journal, 16th April 1929
