Reserves' Narrow Win

Warnock Goal Gains Points at Easter Road.

Aberdeen reserves scored a narrow but merited victory over Hibs "A" at Easter Road.

Taken all over, the Young Dons were the better balanced side in a game in which defence, for the most part, proved superior to attack.
Anderson, the Stonehaven left-half, who was on trial for Aberdeen, gave an impressive display, and the Pittodrie club may forestall St Johnstone and several English clubs by signing him to-day.
Seven minutes after the start of the game at a Eater Road Warnock took advantage of a mistake on the art of Clark to score what proved to be the winning goal.

Desperate Efforts.

Hibs made desperate efforts to equalise, but the Aberdeen defence was firm, although only a brilliant save by Cumming kept Malloy from counting on one occasion.
The homesters were on top at the start of the second half, and Anderson was prominent in a resĀ°lute Pittodrie defence.
Aberdeen gradually asserted themselves, and after Adam and Love had missed chances Warnock struck the crossbar with a great drive.
