Keith Put Up Good Fight in Final.
Keith gave Aberdeen A a good run in the final of the second game of the home-and-home Aberdeenshire County Cup final, but the trophy will not change hands, the Dons winning four goals to two, giving them total of seven goals to three in the two games. The superior training of the Dons told all through. They were more alert and their anticipation was better, but taken all over, Keith gave a good account of themselves and Aberdeen had never matters all their own way. They crossed over with a three-goal lead, Armstrong, Westland, and Lawie being the marksmen. The second half was more evenly contested, Keith had the bulk of the play, but conceded a goal to Armstrong. Sharp deflected the ball past his own 'keeper and soon after Cowie found the target with a flag kick.Source: Press & Journal, 23rd April 1934
