Promising Junior.,/p> Aberdeen played a junior from the south at outside left. He gave a promising display. He sent over some delightful crosses, and generally showed a splendid conception of effective wing play. Moore was well supported all his colleagues. Adam was conspicuous with strong shooting, and Love was always dangerous. J. Westland was also a forcing forward. Ritchie was again the most effective in the home mid-line, though Gavin was not far behind. The home defence was very safe. Douglas Westland in goal gave yet another masterly display. Hearts were a good side, but did not knit as well as the homesters. The "Newman" in their goal played a great game, and J. Johnstone was a brilliant pivot. Reid and Carruthers on the right wing were best in attack.
