Young Dons Unlucky

Injury to Urquhart Early in Game

Aberdeen "A" were unfortunate their Alliance League match at Brockville, for midway through the first half Urquhart, the left back, received a nasty cut above his right eye, and played the remainder of the game at outside-right.

The Young Dons were the first to attack, and Lang had a shot turned down by the Falkirk 'keeper. After fifteen minutes' play Keyes opened the home account. Shortly afterwards Scott missed a good chance of levelling matters. Just on the interval Fleming increased the homesters' lead.
Aberdeen "A" resumed vigorously, and got their reward when Scott scored with a grand shot. The same player levelled the scores a few minutes later, but fifteen minutes from the end Falkirk were awarded a penalty, and McPhee made no mistake.
Urquhart with a great shot put the teams level again five minutes from the end, but with only two minutes to go Keyes scraped through the winning goal.
