Millar Impresses For Reserves

FALKIRK "A" were flattered their 3-1 win over Aberdeen A" at Pittodrie. The Young Dons had a big territorial advantage but the ball did not run kindly for them.
Willie Millar, playing his first game at Pittodrie as a fully-signed player, starred in the home attack. He played at outside-left in the first half, but took over the leadership on the resumption from a young trialist.
Miller scored his side's only goal, but hit the woodwork on several occasions and other great shots from him were brillianlty saved by Carrie, the visitors' 'keeper, who contributed largely to his side's victory.
Thus early Miller is knocking at the door of the first team. He is certainly too good to languish in the reserve side.
