Trialists Show Up Well For Reserves
An injury to D. Dow, the Queen's Park Strollers right back, caused a rearrangement of the amateurs' team in the second half of the Reserve League match at Cathkin. Aberdeen "A" took their chances, and stepped to win match they had looked like losing.
Until the interval Queen's were tne masters, but the boot was on the other foot in the later stages, and the two trialists in the Pittodrie attack both showed up well.
The Young Dons' trialist centre opened the scoring, but before half-time Queen's were leading as result of goals Cowan and Seawright. It was nearly all Aberdeen after the changeover, and after Cowie had equalised Waddell got the winner with a terrific thirty yards' drive.
