While a strong Aberdeen "B" side won 9-0 an Aberdeenshire League game Peterhead, they did not have as much of the play the score suggests.
Gourlay, Glen, Botha and Gillies provided fast and clever attacking moves for the visitors, but it was perhaps the cool and easy defensive work of Cooper and Dunlop, the old heads, which caught the fancy of the spectators mort.

Scorers:- Gillies (3). GouTlay (2), Glen. Robertson, Mackinnon and a Peterhead defender.
