Dunfermline Athletic 2 - 3 Aberdeen

Scottish League 'C' Division
Aberdeen scorers: Bogan, McNeill, Rodger.

07/04/1951 | KO: 15:00

PAT McKENNA. the Dons' reserve back, emphasised his claim for place in the first team in the "C" Division fixture at Dunfermline. He was sound and reliable.
Bakie took the honours at half-back and McNeill and lan Rodger were the bright stars in attack. The little inside right played intelligent football and was the best forward on view.
The 3-2 win at Dunfermline keeps the young Dons well in the running for the championship. Hibs "A" dropped a point at Kirkcaldy, but Hearts, who won at Parkhead, are still on the Pittodrie team?s heels.
