Aberdeen's good home form in the Under 16 Youth League continued as they beat Hibernian 4-1 at a wind swept Balgownie.
The Dons took the lead when impressive work by O'Donoghue in midfield was followed by Scott Michie holding off Hibs centre half Ewart to shoot home. Hibs came back into the game and Mark Peat made good saves from visitors O'Connor and Riordan.
The second half started well for the home side as they went 2-0 up with another Scott Michie goal when he was played in by Tiernan and clipped the ball into the corner of the net.
The Dons went three up when Terry Kidd shot home. The fourth goal came from New Zealander James Pritchett who forced the ball home. Hibs came back into the game as Aberdeen relaxed and Riordan scored a consolation goal for the visitors.
This was a good win for the Under 18's as they prepared for the Scottish Youth Cup semi-final against St Johnstone.
