Today spectators are privileged to welcome the Dons as champions of the Scottish League A Division—the first time this has happened in the history of the club. It has been suggested that the club's success has had more appeal outside the city than within Aberdeen itself. We are sure that this is not really the case and are certain that the reception accorded the Dons will be one they will always remember with great pleasure.

Amazing to think that only 10,000 turned out for Aberdeen's first home match as Champions. In the modern era Pittodrie would have been packed to the rafters to welcome home the heroes.
