Dundee Downed in Derby

The Dons, frustrating in the first half, fighting furies against the wind and fearless in the face of final bombardment, just managed to gain the verdict against a Dundee side that for the most part seemed content to allow the Dons to call the tune. In fact, the Dens side seemed singularly "tame" for a team reputed to be on the list of "possibles" for championship honours. They will have to show more spirit away from home if they hope to finish near the top. One visitor allowed his enthusiasm to outweigh discretion in his tackling but a greater sinner escaped unnoticed! All over it was a good Derby under the conditions and a credit to the players.
