The injury bogey struck the Dons once more when they tackled Hibs last Saturday at Easter Road Park and in the end they were well beaten. On their second half pressure, Hibs were worthy winners, even though two of their goals came from what appeared to be distinctly offside positions. The referee consulted the linesman on one of the occasions but the goal stood. Despite the fact that Hay and Caldwell were "passengers" throughout much of the game, the Dons can be faulted on several counts. A little more repose during that fateful "split second" might have brought several goals in the first half. During the second period some of the lads seemed to give up too readily and too often the ball was sent up the left side and was promptly thumped back into our penalty area
by Hibs' defenders who were opposed by two "cripples."
