Dons share the spoils again

Just like last Friday, Aberdeen and Motherwell shared four goals in this afternoon's Under 18 league meeting at the Chris Anderson Stadium.

The visitors took the lead after 25 minutes when Andy Scott latched on to a misplaced clearance by Hutton to lob the keeper from almost the halfway line - a lead Well held until the interval.

The young Dons drew level three minutes into the second half when Allan Carella (above) scrambled the ball home after the visitors' keeper had parried a header from Stephen Tarditi.

Quarter of an hour from the end, an uncharacteristic error by Duncan Jones presented a second goal to the lively Scott.

But the Pittodrie colts were not to be denied and with only seconds left Stephen Tarditi (left) showed great control in a packed penalty area to turn and fire home left footed to ensure a second draw in the space of five days with the Fir Park youngsters.
