Dons select win 1-0

An Aberdeen select beat Peterhead 1-0 at Balmoor tonight. The game saw very few chances for either side, with the only goal of the game coming in the 44th minute courtesy of Scott Muirhead.

On a positive note Scott Severin played his first 45 minutes in a Dons shirt, whilst Russell Anderson and Phil McGuire both came through the full ninety minutes.

Neil Cooper spoke to RedWeb: "I'm pleased with the overall team and although we didn't create a lot of chances upfront, we did defend well. Scott Severin played well and looked comfortable in the 45 minutes he played. It was also good to see McGuire and Anderson both coming through the full 90 minutes."
