Late strike sinks young Dons
The U19's suffered their second loss of the season when they went down 2-1 to Dundee at Balgownie. In the first half the Dons had several good chances but failed to take any of them until John Stewart scored his 4th of the season.
Aberdeen conceded a soft penalty early in the 2nd half, which allowed Dundee back into the game. The visitors were later reduced to 10 men when their number 6 mistimed a tackle on Foster. The young Dons couldn't take advantage of having an extra man on the field and the visitors scored the winner in injury time.
After the game Neil Cooper spoke with Redweb, "I can't complain at the result as we didn't play as well as I know we can. We looked disjointed at times but we were unlucky to lose a goal so late on."
