youngsters off to a winning start

The first half saw a good performance from the youngsters against an experienced Highland league side.

Aberdeen's opener came midway through the first half when the ball was played out to Bagshaw who whipped in a cross which Richard FOSTER headed past Buckie's keeper. Aberdeen's second came just before half-time with Bagshaw again being the provider for John STEWART to head home.

The second half started slower and Buckie threatened from several corners in quick succession. Buckie did eventually score from a corner when a shot was deflected in off Andrew CONSIDINE. Leigh Hinds and John Stewart then both had good chances but failed to extend the Dons lead and the game ended 1-2.
