dons win friendly

Aberdeen recovered from the loss of a Scott Michie goal to defeat Peterhead 3-1 in an entertaining friendly at Balmoor Stadium in which Steven Craig came through unscathed after injury.

After a goalless opening period, the home side took the lead on the hour mark through former Don MICHIE.

With thirteen minutes remaining, Aberdeen levelled when comeback CRAIG converted an Andrew Bagshaw cross. Two minutes later, Bagshaw was involved again when his cross was deflected by Derek Adams to John STEWART who made no mistake with a well drilled shot.

Substitute Ashley McINNES put the game beyond the Blue Toon in the 83rd minute when a corner was only half cleared and the youngster knocked the ball home to complete the goal action.
