Dons striker John Stewart made it thirteen goals in eleven games with two first half counters as Aberdeen's second string kept up their SPL reserve league title challenge with a comfortable won over the Bairns at Links Park.
The opener came ten minutes before the interval when Stewart collected the ball inside the area, evaded a couple of challenges, before rifling a left foot shot into the net.
On the stroke of half-time, Darren Mackie was brought down inside the box and Stewart made no mistake from the resultant spot kick.
The second period was a quieter affair with neither side creating much in the way of goalscoring opportunities.
