Dons beaten by Hearts
Like the senior team, the U19s came back down to earth with a bump as they were beaten 4-1 by Hearts. The Edinburgh side took the lead after only 4 minutes when Driver beat Kelly to score. Hearts then made it two on 38 minutes when Thomson scored. The Dons got back into the game on the stroke of half time when Bagshaw set up Kiely who scored his third goal in two games.
In the second half Aberdeen pushed for an equaliser and although they had quite a bit of possession they failed to create many chances. At the end, as they pushed forward they were hit with two late goals, an Armstrong penalty (82 minutes) and substitute Forter grabbing the other. (87 mins).
