In the second half the Dons were denied what looked like a solid claim for a penalty when Tarditi was pushed inside the box. The referee waved away appeals and two goals in the last five minutes killed the game off completely. Coach, Neil Cooper spoke to Redweb after the match. "Sometimes you have to hold your hands up and admit you were beaten by the better team. They are by far the best side we have played this season and they have some really good players with a lot of talent.
"We got off to a great start and Ashley took his goal really well, but we lost a sloppy equaliser and the game might have been different if we had held out for longer. There second goal was a quality strike from outside the box that we could do nothing about. In the second half we did not create much as I would have hoped and David Hutton had some excellent saves to keep us in the game. The 4-1 score line was a fair reflection of the match."
