Dundee 1 - 0 Aberdeen

Friendly

01/10/1904 | KO:

Round Dens Park.

Aberdeen Reserves or A team accomplished a very meritorious performance on their visit to Dens Park. The forward rank had another complete turn-up, only Shiach being the staid and handy man. Burnett, whom the papers described as an ex-army man, was given a chance, and another capture, in Kennedy, of the Benburb, showed their paces. Neither proved worthy enthusing over, and may not be heard of again for some time. It was a, fairly good game, with the only goal scored going to the home side. Shiach and Jaffray were the best forwards. The halves and defence were superb.

These teams played a friendly game at Dundee. There was a small attendance, the total drawings amounting to only £9.

The teams well: - Dundee A: Reilly; Darroch, Mckenzie; Fenton, Jessiman, Davis; Dougal, Kerr, Mackie, Smith, Thomson. Aberdeen A: Brebner; Low, Thomson, Robertson; Knowles, Burnett, Kennedy, Shiach, Jeffrey. Referee - Mr. Robertson, Violet.

The game was of a very interesting nature. Fenton scored for Dundee A in the first half, under was no further scoring, the game ending - Dundee A 1, Aberdeen A 0.
