AFTER losing the first goal the Young Dons scored a welldeserved 4-1 win against Dunfermline "A" at Pittodrie on Saturday.
Until Clark opened the scoring for Dunfermline, Aberdeen had held the balance but there was an air of lethargy about their attack.
Dunfermline, on the other hand were a smart lot and always carried a sting. In one attack both A Rodger and McKenna stopped balls on the goal-line and Curran, who had grand game, saved brilliantly from Ersklne.
The Aberdeen lads settled to a more effective game after Bakie had equalised and I. Rodger gave them the lead before the interval.
Dunfermline could not keep up the pace in the second half when the home team were well on top. Further goals came from Pearson and Beaton.
Hugh Hay, the former Banks o' Dee player, had a good game and combined well on the left wing with Pearson. Though he did not score he had a hand in two of the goals.
The wing half backs. O'Neill and Bakie were again dominating figures. Aberdeen certainly seem to have picked a winner in O'Neill.
