St Johnstone 5 - 1 Aberdeen

With two juniors on trial on the left wing Aberdeen reserves were badly beaten in a Scottish Alliance match at Perth, where St Johnstone "A" triumphed by 5 goals to 1. In the opening twenty minutes Aberdeen held their own and would have been on the lead had the forwards taken their chances. At the end of that time Robertson scored for the home team, and before the interval Kelly added a second. Robertson increased St Johnstone's lead shortly after the interval, and Halkerston added a fourth, for Robertson to follow up with fifth. In the later stages Aberdeen improved, and following some clever play on the right Edward counted for them.
