Aberdeen 1 - 4 Heart of Midlothian

Scottish League 'C' Division

10/03/1951 | KO: 15:00

LUCKY Hearts to be able to keep a forward like Johnny Urquhart languishing in the reserve side! Urquhart, who was on loan to Raith Rovers at one time, starred in Hearts reserves' unexpectedly easy win over Aberdeen "A" at Pittodrie - a victory which blighted the home team's championship hopes and made Hearts the favourites for the title.
The yaung Dons were disappointing. Apart from two glaring misses by McNelll and a penally failure by Bruce, they didn't appear to be in the same class as their rivals.
Some of the forward play by Hearts ranked with the best seen at Pittodrie this season, and most of it came from the right wing pair, Durkin and Urquhart.
