Aberdeen 'A' Down Heavily

Aberdeen "A" were defeated by Dundee "A" to the tune of four goals to nil, in an Alliance game at Dens Park. Dundee were first on the attack, and McSevich was called on to save from Ramage and Fleming. A run and cross by Love on the right resulted in Ross hitting the upright. During a scrimmage in front of the Aberdeen goal Dundee were granted a penalty for "hands," and Ramage, who took the kick, made no mistake. In a breakaway by the Aberdeen attack, McFarlane almost beat Robertson with a header, and Jackson forced a fruitless corner. Just before half time a second goal fell to Dundee, Ramage beating McSevich from close in. During a spell of attacking by Aberdeen in the second half Robertson had to save from Cheyne and McFarlane, and at the other end McSevich stopped a drive from Flannigan. A third goal fell to Dundee, Flannigan beating McSevich from thirty yards' range. Farrell and Ramage were responsible for Dundee's fourth goal, as it appeared that the winger's shot was over the line before Ramage got his head to it. The game became rather rough, but there was no further scoring.
