BEATING St Johnstone "A" for the second time within four days at Pittodrie, the Young Dons scored a well-earned 3-0 win in a Division "C" game on Saturday.
They were a much improved team compared with the side that won in mid-week, and much of the aimless kicking that characterised that game was missing.
In passing and combination they were well ahead, and St Johnstone could have had no complaints had they been beaten by a bigger margin.
One of the brighter features of the match was the improved form of Willie Waddell at right half. His partner on the left, Jimmy Chalmers, gave another polished display.
Most enterprising of the home forwards was Jimmy Muir at centre forward, a constant source of danger to the St Johnstone defence with his forays from both wings as well as down the middle.
He scored Aberdeen's third goal just before the interval. The other two, both well taken, came from Harry Yorston.
