Aberdeen's under 18's will face Celtic in the final of the Scottish Youth Cup on the evening of Wednesday 9th May after a 2-1 win over St.Johnstone at McDiarmid Park.
The importance of this Youth Cup semi final to both Clubs was shown as St Johnstone included Keigan Parker and the Dons, Darren Mackie.
Fergus Tiernan gave the Dons the interval advantage before Scott Michie made it two early in the second half.
Although Ross Forsyth pulled one back for the home team, it was the impressive Pittodrie squad, who played well below their capabilities, who progressed for what should be an excellent showdown at the National Stadium.
