Aberdeen 'A' Win Easily

Alliance Fixture at Pittodrie.

Aberdeen "A" scored a convincing victory over Greenock Morton "A" at Pittodrie Park on Saturday, after an interesting game witnessed by 3000 spectators.

Even play marked the early exchanges, but with six minutes gone Paterson broke through to give Aberdeen the lead with a splendid shot.
Morton counter-attacked in vigorous fashion, but were repulsed by Legge, and a corner well placed by Warnock led to a terrific bombardment of the visitors' goal.
McArthur repeatedly fisted clear from a succession of hard shots, but shortly afterwards had to admit defeat to David.
Morton claimed a fair share of the play, but the home defence was safe, and before the interval Smith added a third goal.
Aberdeen were the superior team in the early stages of the second half, but it was only after McArthur had retired injured that Smith increased their lead.
Thereafter play ran from end to end until W. Johnston scored a great goal for Morton with a shot from twenty yards' range.
Aberdeen were superior latterly, and It was no surprise when Burke added a fifth goal.
