This match, the first tie for the Scottish Cup, was played on the ground of the former at Damley Park on Saturday, when a stiff match was witnessed by the numerous spectators. At first Aberdeen seemed to play well, and for some time nothing was done. Latterly the home team began to score, and ere the close had scored seven goals, while the strangers made nothing, and are in consequence disqualified.
