Adam's Three Goals at Pittodrie.
Aberdeen "A" improved their Alliance League position by defeating Hamilton "A" at Pittodrie Park on Saturday by six goals to two. Falloon repulsed the opening visiting attack, and, thereafter, the home forwards took the game in hand, and were seldom far from Gilmour. Five minutes sufficed to give the home team the lead, Armstrong scoring from close range, and seven minutes later Warnock increased their total. Hamilton were never in the hunt, and before the interval Adam netted twice. The visitors showed some improvement In the second-half, but, after Bow had reduced their leeway, Armstrong added a fifth for Aberdeen. Immediately afterwards, Bow scored a good goal for Hamilton, but Adam completed his hat-trick to make Aberdeen easy winners.Source: Press & Journal, 9th November 1931
