Recreation Park Defence in Fine Fettle.
Peterhead held Aberdeen to a draw in a friendly match at Recreation Park, Peterhead, last night. Conditions were wretched, but a fairly good crowd turned out in spite of the weather. Aberdeen were the first to dangerous, and Devlin opened the account for the visitors. Peterhead refused to be rattled, and from short range Forrest beat Cumming. Give-and-take play followed. Aberdeen seemed to have difficulty in settling down on the greasy pitch, and the teams crossed over on level terms. On resuming Aberdeen pressed, but their forwards found the home defence in great form, and failed to score.Source: Press & Journal, 8th April 1932
