OUT OF ACTION for almost a month before the game against Hibs A on the last Saturday of December, the young Dons showed signs of being rusty. This was particularly evident in the defence, where Andy Geoghegan didn't have one of his best games, while the men in front of him all showed signs of being out of touch.
The Christmas spirit was certainly abroad, with both defences giving away goals, but the 5-5 result must have pleased the goal-happy fans. A bright spot was the play of Neil Cooper who seems to improve with every outing, whether he appears in a defensive role or in his original striking capacity. Scorers were Hather, McMaster, Crawford, Campbell and Ward.
